Privacy Policy

Updated: September 29, 2026

This notice explains the website intake and communication tools used by The Law Office of Rudy Velez at rudyvelezlaw.com and the practice domains that redirect here.

Information collected

Our form and automated callback chat collect the contact details you provide, your preferred language, general type of matter, and any optional location, timing or short description you enter. The chat does not provide legal advice. Please do not submit sensitive documents, identification numbers, financial records or detailed confidential facts through these tools.

Why information is used

We use inquiry information to respond, arrange a consultation, assess whether the office can assist, and manage appropriate follow-up. Submitting a callback request is not consent to unrelated promotional messages. Tell us if you no longer want follow-up about your inquiry. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.

Prospective clients and confidentiality

Contacting the office does not by itself mean we have agreed to represent you. Depending on the circumstances, legal and professional duties concerning prospective-client information may apply even if no engagement follows. Whether a communication is privileged depends on the applicable law and facts; this notice neither guarantees privilege nor asks you to waive protections. The office will explain an appropriate way to discuss sensitive information and any engagement terms.

Website and communication providers

Netlify hosts the website and may process technical request data. Formspree processes and stores form and chat submissions and sends notifications to the office email inbox. Office email providers process those notifications and correspondence. Google Analytics measures website use, such as page visits and contact-button events; it may use cookies and device or browser information. Google Maps processes requests when its embedded map loads. Search Console provides search-performance information to the office. WhatsApp is a separate communication service that opens when you choose its link. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics choices

Language preferences may be stored in your browser. Analytics and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies. We do not describe this information as necessarily anonymous. Our custom intake events do not include names, phone numbers, email addresses or case descriptions. Advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the website Google tag. You can use browser privacy controls to block cookies or scripts; some features may then behave differently. You may also contact the office by phone instead of using online intake.

Retention, requests and security

Inquiry information may exist in Formspree, office email and related office records. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion or an end to follow-up. We will assess the request in light of applicable legal and professional obligations, including any required retention; deletion cannot be promised in every circumstance. No internet transmission or third-party service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us about a suspected misdirected submission or privacy concern.

Urgent matters and delivery

We respond to inquiries within 24 hours, including weekends. A website confirmation means the submission service accepted the request; it does not mean an attorney has read it or accepted representation. Online delivery can fail or be delayed. For an arrest, urgent court date or imminent deadline, call (917) 674-0573 rather than waiting for an online response.

Updates and contact

Updates to this notice will appear here with a revised date. Please contact the office with questions.
